Operating Room Adventure

So I had surgery on August 20. It was interesting to go to the hospital knowing I was the patient. I haven't ever been sick before so it was a new experience for me. I got settled in and ready to be taken back. IV put in after 2 tries, not bad but major bruising. And a "relaxing" med used just before going to the OR. Let me just say that I don't remember anything past "Ok, here we go." and starting to roll down the hall. I woke up, steady vitals, pain meds got me under control and I was in recovery. I got to go home that night and had some lovely visitors. Thanks so much to Hannah and Susan for coming to the hospital to be with mom and see me! Krista, Kalie, Cindy, Patti, and Katie came to the house after surgery to see me! Thanks to you all! I really appreciated it! Now I'm home and working on exercises for PT.
