Today represents the downhill slope, both of this blog challenge and of the winter semester here at SAU.
Day #16: Your views on mainstream music
First of all I question what mainstream music actually is? Is it the current pop, screamo, rock, indie, or something else altogether?
I suppose my view is that much of the "mainstream" music out there is good. It has a good beat, a fine message, and there is nothing wrong with listening to it. Of course we have to be careful to not get drawn into music with bad messages. There is a lot of smut out there as well and I try to stay away from it.
Overall I think a good mix is best. Branch out and try new kinds of music, you might be surprised and even like some of it.
