Oh my, favorite movie. I have sooooo many, there's no way I can narrow it down to just one. So instead I think I'll try to pick a few favorites from over the years.
The first movie that I remember absolutely falling in love with is The Parent Trap. I remember when i first went to see it in theaters with my friend Caroline and our moms. We walked in late and missed the opening scene of the parents getting married on the boat. I was immediately glued to the screen as I saw a lake and canoes come on the screen! After that I was hooked.
The basic plot of the movie is that twin girls separated at about 2 years old go to the same camp, realize their connection and concoct a plan to reunite their parents. It of course works and everyone lives happily ever after as a big happy family.
I think the next movie that I was absolutely in love with was Dirty Dancing. I don't remember a time when I didn't at least know the name of this movie. It's a mutual favorite of my mom's and mine, which makes it super fun to watch together. Especailly at the lake, which is where it was filmed. Again another connection to make this one of my top all time favorites!

I discovered Sahara my senior year of highschool and I absolutely loved it! The adventure, diving, and romance was a perfect set up for me.

My newest favorite movie is Sherlock Holmes: A game of shadows. The plot is intriguing and the footage is spectacular! I cannot wait till it comes out on video!

This movie is a continuation of the first Sherlock Holmes. It begins with needing to stop an evil professor from starting the third world war, which is accomplished in the end. The story is told from Dr. Watson's perspective, at least at the beginning and at the end. Of course, as with any Sherlock story, there is a twist at the end.
These are very few of my favorites. Movies are one of the things that I absolutely love! The trivia is so fun to memorize and quoting the lines is my favorite pasttime. I hope you enjoyed learning about my favorites!
