Finally a chance to relax! This break has not been at all like I thought it would be. I was expecting a couple days to just sleep, some productive homework time, and finally some good old shadowing to top it all off. Instead I got hospitals, stress, family, and BEACH time! My amazing aunt and uncle have a place on Kiawah Island in South Carolina and there were two nights available and they offered them to me, my brother, and my cousin. Of course we accepted!
After a quick stop in Columbia to sample the food court's selections we made the journey all the way to Kiawah Island. Though I typically don't enjoy driving for 5 hours, today was extremely fun! We stopped in at the Marina and took a look at the sail boats and then looked around Fresh Fields Village. After killing time for fun we checked into our condo and have been contentedly enjoying the relaxing atmosphere ever since.
This morning I woke up, took a fast shower and frantically packed the car. I then drove to my cousins house and picked her up and finally made a stop to get my brother from his job. We all piled in the car and headed down the road to South Carolina.
