Life as usual

Wow! These last couple of weeks have absolutely flown by, though not while they were happening of course. This is the 5th week of my anatomy class and after Friday’s test, we only have 2 weeks left. Absolutely crazy if you ask me!

I’ve gotten to do a lot since my last post. I went to Redlands Bowl, which is a free concert in an outdoor amphitheater. It was a 3 man guitar band. They were phenomenal! I had a blast. Han and Kristine came with and we laid out a blanket and chilled on the grass while listening to the guitar music. Most of it was classical, but they did a few hits, one inparticular by Queen. It was a really fun evening!

I have also explored downtown Redlands. It’s a lot like downtown Hendersonville in NC. Some adorable little shops, a great coffee shop, and at least one really yummy Italian place where I happened to eat lunch J

Another beach trip has now occurred as well. Steph invited Casey and I to her house last weekend and Saturday after church we headed to Yorba Linda and then to Newport Beach. We spent the afternoon catching more clouds than sun, but it was still super fun! We got in the water and wave hopped, but the current was pretty strong so we didn’t stay in as long as I would have liked to. Steph also has a crazy awesome house! Complete with rock pool with a waterslide and hot tub! Let me just say we had a lot of laughs during our swim time!

I’m so excited that God put such awesome new friends in my life! We’re prayer partners as well as study partners! Life is good for me on the west coast, but I must say that I’ll be ever so ready for Christmas break when I can finally head back to the good ole’ South J
