After Katie's grad lunch, Aunt Carol, Katie, and I headed for Kiawah. I was so excited and I couldn't wait to get to the beach! It had been 4 years since I had been to Kiawah with Carol and I felt that the visit was way over due. We didn't get to the condo until quite late, but we hauled our stuff inside, got our rooms settled, then Katie and I ran down to the water! We splashed around for a little while using our phones for flashlights, then headed back up to the house for the night. We talked for awhile with Carol before deciding to hit the hay. We got up around 10 the next morning, grabbed some pretzels and not finding Carol, headed for the beach. We were knee deep in the ocean when we saw Carol heading towards us from up the beach. We went in for some breakfast on the deck, then went back to the beach with boogie boards. We caught some good waves, but were soon tired and ready for some lunch. After lunch we rented bikes and rode around the island.Patti came down Monday afternoon and after helping her get her stuff unloaded Katie and I took the car to the grocery store to get things for supper, breakfast, and lunch. We ended up in the Carolina Girls shop, which is super cute, and both splurged on bracelets to remember our trip by. Tuesday was just as fun as Monday. We hit the pool, ocean, and rode bikes around again. We had a blast taking pictures and being goofy. We snacked for lunch and had hotdogs, my personal favorite, for supper after another trip to the grocery store. Tuesday night we had a photoshoot on the beach and watched a movie on TV. Wednesday was our last day and though we were sad to go we still had fun. The pool was visited again, followed by boogie boarding in the ocean. After getting cleaned up we packed the car and headed home. We had a marvelous time at the beach and I am so lucky to have such amazing family who loves me!
