One of my best friends, Olivia Weber, came to stay with me the first week of May. She came Sunday night and we got to hang out all day Monday. We went to Panera, baked cookies, and watched movies. Olivia came primarily to shadow a teacher that she knows in Asheville, she spent a day shadowing her and then came with me for another 2 days to shadow at APCS. We had a blast together! I'm so lucky to have such wonderful friends who are always up for a good time!

Olivia left on Thursday and Friday began the MPA graduation festivities. My cousin Katie graduated this year so we headed to the church for Friday night vespers. Then Sabbath was another great service dedicated to the graduating class. I was able to see Katherine, another cousin, as well. She was at GCA, the senior class was in Asheville for their class trip and we were able to see her on Sabbath which was really fun! Saturday night was spent at the Thrash house getting ready for the after party to follow graduation Sunday afternoon. We relocated chairs, filled party favors, put out placemats, and got directions for what goes where for Sunday. After getting home late, I packed my bags, cleaned my room, showered, and fell into bed. Sunday dawned bright and early and we hurriedly dressed and rushed to the academy gym. We watched Katie march down the isle, give the fairwell speech to her class, and recieve her awards and diploma. After pictures and hugs, we rushed back to the Thrash house to complete the setup and get ready for lunch. Patti, my aunt, did a wonderful job with everything and we had a great party!
