Get Ready, Get Set, READ!!!

So this semester I am taking classes to complete an English minor, something that I wanted to do a couple years ago, but then gave up because it would take an extra semester to complete. Well lucky for me, or not so lucky, I have an extra semester to complete this goal. So far my classes have been going well, and I really like the content. The only bad part is the reading. I never realized how lucky I am to be an education major! All english people have time to do is study, read, study, write, read, read, sleep, read, eat, read..... and on and on if you get my drift. With 3 lit classes, a writing class, and a grammar class I am quite busy. Of course I am not the one to let all the homework get in the way of my fun! I am babysitting again this year for the Hayes kids and I'm enjoying that as well as the little excursions that I have with my friends throughout the week. I'm planning to not get behind and to still have fun! We'll see how that works out.
All my books for the semester. Busy, busy, busy!
A lovely trip to China kitchen with Katie and Amanda!

I'm living in Talge this semester, which is the boys dorm. Interesting to say the least. The room is smaller than the ones in Thatcher and it has been interesting getting used to the small drawers and the closets with shelves in them. Not to mention being on the opposite side of campus, which is kinda a plus since that's where all my classes are.

Amanda and I went for a special treat after our weekend home. Publix has the most amazing bakery EVER! It's really quite exciting, and we got some yummy chocolately desserts to motivate ourselves to study.

I have also been to a slip-and-slide party, where I was the hose woman. Been home and had a lovely weekend in the mountains of North Carolina. And been to 2 intense volleyball games. And all since I've been back. I assume the rest of my semester will be as exciting as the first couple weeks!
