So it appears that the blogging world has decided to do a 30-day blogging challenge. Though this may sound like a simple idea, I have to say that for a college student this is definitely going to be a challenge! However, I have decided to join in. So to hear honest opinions and perhaps new insights, stay tuned for the next 30 days!
Day #1- Your current relationship, if single discuss how single life is:
My current status is single. And I have to say that this year I am truly appreciating and loving single life! With my busy schedule a relationship would force me to give up doing the things that I absolutely love such as, going and getting cake from City Cafe on a whim, taking off on a Saturday morning to drive to Knoxville for the day to spend with cousins, having random icecream parties with my housemates, and doing all the fun spontaneous things that I have grown used to this past year. Not only can I have a lot of fun with single life, but it has also enabled me to decide who I am and who I want to be without the influence or dependence on a boyfriend. Not only is that unfair but gaining self worth and importance from another human being is not a good idea and only results in hurt.
Even though I have been loving the single life, there are many times that I wish for someone to come along and sweep me off my feet (Yes a totally Disney Princess fantasy I know, but when it's the right person I believe that it will happen!). I know God has just the right person in mind and when we are both ready, we will meet. Until then, I am going to go on loving my life and enjoying the randomness!
