Day #14: Your earliest memory
I believe my earliest memory is a vague recollection of getting to hold my cousin Katie when she was born, but it's extremely vague and more of an impression than an actual memory so...
One of my earliest memories is of going to a wedding when I was 3. There were stone horses outside of the reception that I played on with Aunt Sandra. I also remember getting to run around in the grass. I remember wearing my 101 dalmation dress and socks. It was my favorite dress, which is probably why I remember it. That same day we went to some hotel with Uncle Doug and Aunt Sandra and they bought me a Babar doll, which is actually the girl Celeste. I only knew the books about Babar but I wanted the girl doll with the pink dress and gold crown so I got that one and named it Babar. Only years later did I realize it was actually Celeste, but I still can't bring myself to call it that.
