It's so sad, but today is the last weekday of Spring break. It's so unfortunate that we are only allowed a week to breathe! But I have had a really fun time no matter how short it's been. Today was our last morning at Kiawah. We got up, got packed, rode our bikes to check out and then returned our rentals and walked back to the car. Charleston was basically on the way home so we made a stop downtown and enjoyed some walking around time. We ate at a wharf side resturant for lunch. DJ was quite happy to get some sea food while we were at the beach! Katie and I had grilled cheese sandwiches and some amazing spinach artichoke dip! It was really fun to just hang out and walk around!
Our drive home was uneventful, thankfully, and we made decent time. I have to say that I was glad to get home and off the road however! I like driving, but there comes a point where you just want to not concentrate anymore, ever! Of course Sunday will result in another 3 hour drive back to school. Oh the joys!
Thankfully I have a fun weekend to look forward to! 2 birthday parties and hopefully some more best friend time!
