After some brunch with mom and DJ and setting out a plan of errands to run we headed out. First was the UPS store where we bought three 18x18 inch boxes for packing. We then headed on to Walmart for a tube for DJ's inherited bike. I also looked at a few bikes that I might be interested in getting for my time out in Cali. We also splurged on a bag of peanut butter M&M's. My favorite!
Because this was a day trip with mom, we got to stop by Dairy Queen! I got double cookie dough, DJ got fudge cookie dough, and mom got chocolate fudge all in the form of blizzards. They were to die for! I haven't had ice cream since I got out of school and this was a wonderful treat!

We then headed onto Best Buy and then home where I began packing and taping boxes like crazy. So far I have 6 boxes totally packed, labeled, and ready to be shipped on Friday. I absolutely hate packing and unpacking and I am soooo not looking forward to setting up shop in a new apartment. However, thankfully, I will have help with the unpacking and reorganizing process!
On the agenda for tomorrow includes lunch with my friend Laura, up to the lake for a last ski, and then on Wednesday a trip to Carowinds! So far I'm greatly enjoying this last farewell week.
Okay, that picture of DJ killed me. Haha! Got to that picture and seriously cracked up. Crazy kid! Sounds like you're having a fantastic "summer." Glad you're soaking it up. Hope you'll keep posting once in LLU (yeah, yeah, a girl can dream, can't she?). HUGS!
