My summer has been fantastic, I've been busy doing all sorts of things and It's been so much fun! I came home from school on April 29, a bright Thursday morning and unpacked my car. I got some things arranged and washed a load or two of clothes. Friday morning I slept in and then headed over to APCS to wish DJ farewell on his camping trip. I ended up going into the first and second grade classroom for the afternoon, which was amazing! I left the school around 2, headed home, packed a suitcase and set off for Maryville, TN. I had a beautiful drive and arrived to happy little girls playing! I was able to see Elle and Caroline all weekend and I had a blast with them and their parents and grandparents! Caroline turned 1 on April 28 and the whole family came Sunday to celebrate with her. It was so much fun seeing her walking around and playing with the ribbons from her presents.

Elle helps Caroline open her presents, such a good big cousin!
After going to Maryville I was able to head back home for a week of reorganizing my room, and recooperating from the school year. I also got to go to Miss Susan's classroom a lot the first week of May. She let me take a reading group, a math group, and even a spelling group. I had so much fun hanging out with the kids and getting used to a classroom setting. Susan has been so sweet and helpful! I have learned a lot from her and I hope that I can be half the teacher she is this next year.
