I am my father's daughter...

I grew up hearing hilarious stories about my dad pulling handles and doorknobs off of doors or other random things. We always used to laugh about how strong he must have been to be able to take a door handle straight off the door. Well several years ago, I took up the tradition. I pulled my moms tahoe door handle off. She had to go around to the outside and let me out so I could go to school. Yes all very funny. We did get it fixed and I never hurt the car again.

A few years later, I took the handle off one of the doors at my grandparent's lake house. Again, everything was fixed and no harm was really done.

Well, today, I again showed my immense talent and strength. The bathtub in my bathroom has a drip that continues if the knob isn't turned all the way off. So in order to conserve water I always make sure that the knob is turned OFF. My brother used the shower after me this morning, and he hadn't quite gotten the knob turned far enough. So of course, I grabbed the knob and started to turn it tighter. Well, all of a sudden a large crack sounded and I was holding 2 pieces of a once whole shower knob.

Mom and DJ laughed all over the place and after a call to my dad, I had all 3 of them teasing me. Again my talent presents itself. Of course my wonderful brother was sweet enough to fix it for me, but still.... I think that this christens my new apartment!
